On April 4, 2011, NTA members joined over 1,000 local union members in a Solidarity Rally in Newburgh to support our sisters and brothers in Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and many other states facing the loss of their collective bargaining rights. This rally marks the April 4, 1968 anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s asssassination in Memphis, where he was supporting sanitation workers demanding their right to bargain collectively for a voice at work and a better life.
